Are you writing what we're writing?
Oh joy! You too can generate your own Conservatives election posters (a rather UK focused post, this). My effort is on the left (click on the image for a larger pop-up)
I suppose it was only a matter of time.

Take one top restaurant...
...add an American secondee with a blog and you get: phatduck.
And it's not just a top restaurant, but, according to Restaurant magazine, the best restaurant in the world: The Fat Duck at Bray in Berkshire, UK.
Dana Bickford is a baker from Seattle 'filling a two month stage' in the kitchens. Not all of her posts will necessary be of interest, but those about food and how the kitchens work are (even if the wide-eyed glee of working there palls occasionally).
Of course, what I would really like to see is a blog from Heston Blumenthal himself. In the meantime I will have to do with his weekly columns in the Guardian.

FactCheck - Keeping politicians honest
I just love this site. I was an occasional reader of FactCheck.org during the US Presidential Election last year, but now I have the UK version from Channel 4 in my RSS feedreader I have become addicted.
For clear and effective analysis it strikes me as the kind of thing the Economist could have done. Congratulations Channel 4.

Fooled?
Yet again, it's time to list the best of the April Fools. My current two favourites are from Silicon:
Even monkeys wouldn\'t use a Mac - silicon.com
and:
Labour lines up countryside role for Charles" from the Guardian.
