London needs you

The team behind London by London is getting ready to publish its first book: an insider's guide to the capital, written entirely by Londoners. They are asking this week:

"If you could give one piece of advice to someone moving to London for the first time, what would it be?"

Good question. Mine would be 'Don't expect anywhere, particularly food vendors, to be open on 1 January. Even in London. I've almost starved before.'

To suggest yours, go to: Tell London by London by Thursday 16 September and feel free to add yours in the comments section below.

I've only been on Holiday but my advice:

Upon arrival, immediately stop converting everything back into your former currency (like the € or US$). It's far too painful!
