You'll have to save that for another time
Whilst I am posting yet more material from The Guardian, I ought to add this short short story by Dave Eggers. These perfectly formed tales of everyday life have these last two weeks been highlights of my Saturdays. They are concise affecting and balanced. Much as with the Pepys entry below, so much is conveyed with so little.
Of course, Eggers is the publisher behind Timothy McSweeney's (unacknowledged journal of the Society of Tims, of course).
